The International Investment Centre is staffed by investment professionals who are well qualified to source the best investment products available in the market today.

The investment products come from both internal and external providers. They are all subject to initial and ongoing screening and assessment to ensure they are top flight products worthy of recommendation.

Most types of asset class are covered and products range from capital guaranteed products to multiple asset class funds to more esoteric single country, commercial sector or thematic funds. Alternative investments are also included.

The International Investment Centre has a rigorous selection and approval process that operates on a number of levels and incorporates the services of multi manager fund specialists utilised by institutional investors.

From this ‘Open Architecture’ approach, Wealth Managers can then recommend the investment portfolio to perfectly match their clients' needs.

International Investment Panel

Our view on the prospects for investment markets emanates from the International Investment Panel established and run by the International Investment Centre. Professionals from across the Group contribute to the International Investment Panel, debating the global macro-economic and political environment and developing a broad consensus on how the capital markets can be expected to behave in the foreseeable future and over the longer-term.

This colours the thinking of both our International Investment Centre in approving particular products and of our Wealth Managers in providing advice on the construction of a portfolio.
